The Creative Builder’s Advantage: Why AI Makes This the Perfect Time to Create
I’ve always loved creating things. Not just for myself, but in ways that other people actually appreciate and find useful. And look, not to toot my own horn, but I’ve never really struggled with coming up with creative ideas. That was never my problem.
The real challenge? How do I actually maximize my creativity when I’m stuck doing generic sales calls or basic service work all day? Where’s the building and making in that?
It’s All About the Puzzle
Here’s something about me: I love puzzles. Like, genuinely love them. It’s partially why I took all those anthropology courses – trying to make sense of pieces, connecting dots that don’t seem related at first. Finding patterns in chaos.
Even my moving business, AdamHelper, wasn’t just some Planet Fitness, “I lift things up and put things down, strong man no brains needed” situation. I loved the challenge of figuring out how to get a huge weird-shaped couch through a narrow doorway. Or fitting everything into one load in a cargo van when everyone else would need two trips. That’s the fun part for me.
It’s the same reason I was part of the chess club when I was at Bates College. Strategy. Planning. Solving.
Why Creatives Are Going to Be Fine
So I recently watched this interview with will.i.am on Bloomberg Technology on YouTube, and he said something that really hit home. He’s not concerned about AI replacing creatives. Actually, he’s excited about it. If anything, he’s more worried about his accountant or lawyer or assistant than the guitarist.
His take on creatives? We’re gonna be cool.
And that’s exactly where I fit in.
Bridging the Gap
I’ve always had visions for building apps and tools. We’ll talk about TR Growth CRM someday, but the point is – I had the ideas. What I didn’t have was the time, the access, or honestly, the technical knowledge to execute on everything I wanted to build.
Now, with AI, it’s helping bridge that gap.
I’m making music and content. I’m building apps internally for my own needs that I’m now selling and building for other businesses. I’m doing things I literally couldn’t do before, or would have needed to hire multiple specialists to help with.
Here’s how I see it: AI is only going to get bigger. So why not learn about it, practice using it, and embrace it now while it’s still pretty early on, before it has truly taken off?
Meet Almighty Adam
That’s why I’m using AI to help create another artist – Almighty Adam. With the help of AI, I’ve been able to bring my ideas and lyrics to life, unlike ever before.
I’m able to develop music, videos, visuals, apps and tools, strategize and plan, pull data from Google Business automatically with the touch of one button, and so much more.
And with the music specifically, here’s what I think is cool: if you have a product or service you want to promote, instead of needing to ONLY pay Snoop Dogg, Nelly, or Nicki Minaj, now you can pay Almighty Adam, Warren Stuffett, Xania Monet, or DJ Calm Down.
And not to mention how real artist can make millions as I recently wrote about Khaby Lame and new digital AI-clone deal.
Plus, it lets people enjoy what they actually want. I wanted to hear some soulful R&B that’s conscious and modern but has a 70s vibe. That didn’t really exist in the way I wanted it.
Now it does, because of Almighty Adam. And that’s exciting if you ask me.
Strategic and Just for Fun
That’s ultimately how I view everything I’m building. Some of it might be a strategic or business move, while other parts are simply for entertainment or pleasure that I want to enjoy. And it just so happens that others might also agree or like that same thing.
So if you’re a fellow creative or have a THING you want to say or express – now is the time to do it. And don’t mind the AI haters complaining about AI slop, nothing perfect and pretty just appears out of thin air. That said, I’m not defending the AI slop either since there is, in fact, a shit ton of it.
But don’t wait for perfect conditions. Don’t wait until you know everything. The tools are here. The opportunity is now. Experiment. Build. Create.
For Businesses: A New Way Forward
And businesses – you’re going to need new ways to get found and drive awareness. New ways to engage people, capture leads, qualify those leads, and actually make sales.
Well, let’s talk. This is what I do.
After all, you found me, right?
Yup, my online visibility game is on point. And I haven’t even begun to go in on video yet.
